The universe is important but it is not God, and people are more important than animals. Therefore we should take good care of the nature God gave us, but we should worship God alone. Page 11 – The righteousness of God by R.C. Sproul. Righteousness means that we receive what we deserve – for good and for bad. God does not punish us as we deserve because Jesus paid the penalty of our sins.
Page 12 – Belandina a chapter from the book “Trial and Triumph, Canon Press. Belandina (155-177 AD), was not willing to deny her faith in Jesus. She was put in prison, tortured, thrown to the wild animals, but kept her faith. Her boldness was known and was a source of encouragement.
