What is Christianity? We believe in the existence of God who created the universe and maintain it. The Holy Scriptures – The Bible – is the foundation of the Christian faith. The Bible is the one and only word of God and therefore our faith is based upon it. God created a perfect world, but when Adam and eve have sinned in the garden of Eden, and ate from the forbidden tree, sin entered the world. The nature of man is now corrupted. The sin separated men from the holy God. Because of His holiness, God can not accept sinners and He determined that the wage of sin is death. Physical death as well as spiritual death, which means separation from God. Since all men inherited a sinful nature, all of them with no exception are guilty before God. But God is loving and merciful and He determined that perfect sacrifice may cover for the sins of those who repent. That is the reason for the sacrificial system in the Low of Moses (the Torah). But the animal sacrifices were not good enough and God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus is God. He came in the flash as a slave in order to cover the sins of men. He was fully man but never sinned. Three days after He was buried, God raised Him from the death and defeated the sin and death. Jesus is the promised Messiah of Israel. He fulfilled all the requirements of God and the many prophecies of the old testament. Through His sacrifice God grant forgiveness to those who repent and believe and even give them the status of God’s children. He frees the believers from slavery to sin and promises them eternal life in His kingdom. Who ever became child of God live in the light of this wonderful promise. Christians tries to glorify God and seek holiness. The are involved in all area of society. The keep the state low and respect all people because all men were created in the image of God. The believers in Jesus are not better than any one. The are not more talented. Their advantage is that their sins were forgiven. Therefore their heart is full with joy and they willingly testify in words and lifestyle about the great hope they have.
